The Grachtenfestival’s opening celebration offers a preview of all the wonderful events on the programme for the next ten days. Featuring a diverse mix of artists and plenty of young talent, this is a showcase of what the Grachtenfestival is all about. Naturally, the evening wouldn’t be complete without a performance by the winners of the GrachtenfestivalPrijs 2012, the duo Sax & Stix, lauded for their unique blend of saxophone and percussion. Also featured are musicians making a bid for this year’s GrachtenfestivalPrijs. Dieuwertje Blok is your host for the evening.
