The band is made up of four young Jazz Educated musicians, led by Saxophonist Aviv Noam, all coming from different countries (Israel, Italy, France), all living In Amsterdam and making their own original music.
The band members met three years ago while studying Jazz music in Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
After playing their first few concerts as a band, performing music written by: Charles Mingus, Eric Dolphy, John Coltrane and Ornette Colman, they immediately acknowledged the chemistry within the band and its ability to create some indescribable moments while playing. That made the band start composing their own music, and eventually record their debut album: "This is in Everything We Do" (Out in Fall 2020).
Their compositions have a changing point of view on the balance between composed and improvised material. Tempos, Dynamics, Grooves, musical environments together with intimate melodies, high energy swing & solos are all descriptive to the sound the band has created.
The band won the “Incentive” Prize of the "Keep an Eye on Jazz 2019" competition and played in venues such as Cafe Alto, De ruimte, Bimhuis (Jam opening) “Take Off Music Event”/ Meer Jazz festival and opened many local Amsterdam Jam sessions.
