Caravan connects worlds like East and West and classical to jazz and folk music. The ensemble consists of the Syrian ud virtuoso Jawa Manla, violin phenomenon Emmy Storms, percussion wizard Jeroen Batterink and pianist / composer Julian Schneemann; the young musicians of Caravan travel together, without bothering about boundaries. Expect a breathtaking musical experience, in which Arabic and Irish sounds can be heard and which are organically fused with classical music and jazz. And with all these influences, Caravan ultimately tells one story, as if it were a plea for the power of diversity.
