Ensemble

Satriya and Felix were housemates during their studies in the Netherlands, during that period they formed the Samsakta Duo. As a duo they won the 3rd prize, the public prize, and the Student Jury Prize at the International Student Song Duo Competition 2017.

 

Satriya Krisna studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Henny Yana

Diemer and Jan-Paul Grijpink. He performed with the Gelders Orkest and the Philips

Symphony Orchestra at the Grachtenfestival 2013, and in the Concertgebouw

Amsterdam. Satriya received a scholarship to participate in the Verbier Festival

Academy 2017, where he played various opera roles, in addition to a song program. In

2017 he came to the semi-final of the International Vocal Competition

Den Bosch and he won the Judges Discretionary Prize of the Fulham Opera’s Robert

Presley Memorial Prize and an award from the Opera Awards Foundation. Satriya

has given concerts with various Bach cantatas, Mozart's Requiem and the Stabat

Mater from Dvorak. He works at Young opera Talent of the National Opera where he has played

various roles.

 

Felix Justin studied piano at the Yamaha Music School in Indonesia and continued

his studies at the Utrecht Conservatory with Henry Kelder. For both his

bachelor's degree and his master's degree he graduated cum laude. In 2015, Felix won the first

prize of the VriendenCultuurPrijs in Tilburg. He has also received a scholarship from

ErasmusPlus for a year of study abroad, leaving him from 2015 to 2016

at the Royal College of Music, London, and Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der

Stadt Vienna could study. Felix played in front of Queen Máxima and the Belgian

Queen Mathilde during their joint visit to Utrecht. He played as a soloist

in various concert halls at home and abroad, such as TivoliVredenburg

Utrecht, Stadschouwburg Tilburg, Walter Maashuis Bilthoven, Gedung Kesenian

Jakarta, and Kolarac Hall in Belgrade (Serbia). Felix has delved into it

accompaniment of songs and opera, and received master classes from Rudolf Jansen,

Hans Eijsackers, and Maurice Lammerts van Bueren.
