TenToon Ensemble, before known as J.O.N.G.ensemble, was founded in 2009 and consists of eight wind players, double bass and percussion. TenToon presents classical music in an unique way to her audience. Concerts take place in original locaties and are played in the formation of TenToon. TenToon also likes to work together with musicians from other musical genres, like trumpet player Eric Vloeimans and jazz singer Margriet Sjoerdsma and in this program singer songwriter Rens Polman. For every show TenToon creates an unique program for the audience also embracing theatrical elements on stage.
Over the years TenToon played many concerts in the big classical venues such as Vredenburg Utrecht, Concertgebouw Amsterdam and the Doelen in Rotterdam, and also played in children's hospitals, parks, museums and estates.
For this Summer night concert TenToon will bring beautiful classical music in special arrangements in combination with sunny pop songs with Rens Polman.
