Pan Chao, who is 23 years old, born in Nanjing, China, 1988.. In 2006,Chao was admitted to the Nanjing Normal University to study English Literature. During the college time, he studied classical guitar from Mr. Hua Zhongchang in Nanjing for years. In 2008 Chao joined the Chaconne Guitar Quartet Band, which is established by Mr. Hua, giving tours to universities in Nanjing City, such as Nanjing Forestry University, Nanjing Institute of Technology and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, etc. In 2010, after graduation, in order to pursue the art of classical guitar, Chao abandoned former professional occupation and went to Beijing to study classical guitar with music teacher Hu Aihua for 2 years. At the same time he enrolled the master classes given by Spanish guitarist , Serafin Arriaza, Professor from the classical guitar department in Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, Michael Hanz Koch and Croatia classical guitarist, Darko Petrinjak, accepting the one to one tuitions.
In 2012, Pan Chao was admitted to Prins Claus Conservatory in Groningen, the Netherlands, to continue guitar study from the youngest Classical Guitarist and Teacher in Europe, Sabrina Vlaskalic.
