Eleftheria Pologeorgi

Eleftheria Pologeorgi was born in Greece. She graduated in 2009 from the Department of Music, Sience and Art, University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece, with a Bachelors degree flute (grade: excellent). In 2009 she was elected as associate musician in the European Union Youth Orchestra. She has attended masterclasses with M. Istvan, P.L. Graf, J.M. Tanguy, A. Oliva, P. Benoit, T. Robertello, W. Offermans, R. Richardson, C. Jans, R. Penezic, T. Wye, U. Grodd, A. Adorjan, W. Boustany, M. Ziegler, R. Brown, J.C. Gerard, A.K. Heinzmann, I. Clarke, P. Bernold. For 3 years she has been teaching music and flute in Greek schools. In May 2012 she received a scholarship (Alexandra Trianti) from the Athens Concert Hall to support postgraduate studies abroad and in June 2012 she was accepted for a Masters course in the Consevatorium Maastricht in the class of Philippe Benoit.
