Alexander de Jong is an exceptional bass-baritone and a young talent. Despite his age he already worked with director Lotte de Beer en performed in productions of De Nationale Opera. At the coming festival he will show another side of himself by digging into the remarkable history of the Mayor Manor.
History will be very visible on Nes nr. 116, what with the fundaments of a 15th century catholic cloyster, a medieval cemetery as well as a shelter during World War II.
