The members of the Coal Harbour sextet met at the conservatory in Rotterdam, located in the Coolhaven quarter. They played together in several groups like the praised Nederlandse Nationaal Jeugd Jazz Orkest, and then formed a group of their own, aformentioned sextet. Together with another string quartet, the audience can look forward to an ensemble performing their own works and contemporary adaptations.
