For years, the Vondelpark Open Air Theater has been the place to go for an accessible amount of cultural events during the summer months. From May 5 through September 11, musicians, theatre-makers, dancers, cabaret artists and classical musicians are ready to surprise you with no fewer than 150 concerts and performances for which people don't have to buy a ticket.
In recent years, the Vondelpark Open Air Theatre has hosted performances by, among others: Candy Dulfer, The Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, Acda and de Munnik, Ramses Shaffy, Alain Clark, Freek de Jonge, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Jan Jaap van de Wal, The Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, Micha Wertheim, Moke, Sanne Wallis de Vries, Ellen ten Damme, Waylon, Amsterdam Sinfonietta, Willeke Alberti, Nederlands Dans Theater and many more.
