Nieuwe Uilenburgerstraat 91 1011 LM Amsterdam
The Uilenburgersjoel was built in 1766. It is one of the last original Jewish properties standing in one of the most famous Jewish working-class neighborhoods. The building is a national monument built in Louis XV style including elements of Jewish architectural style.
Today, the large and small rooms host a variety of events, from Shabbat services in the synagogue hall to learning groups in a small downstairs room. It is a place for special moments such as a wedding or a birthday celebration. A space for a beautiful conversation or a compelling concert.
