Food Garden IJplein is a community vegetable garden for and by local residents. Everyone who works in the garden receives a portion of the yield. Most of the organic grown vegetables and herbs are added to the food packages for the Food Banks in Amsterdam North and processed in the meals of Resto van Harte.
The garden is public and accessible for everyone. The garden is an accessible meeting place where everyone feels welcomed.
