The Ark is a church building in the Slotervaart district of Amsterdam Nieuw-West. The church was built in 1960-'61 after a design by architect Piet Zanstra. Since 2008 the building has been on the city monument list and in the Top-100 of young monuments of Amsterdam.
The area of Slotervaart and the Overtoomse Veld was assigned to the Hervormde Gemeente Sloten N.H. in 1958. The Reformed Congregation Amsterdam-Sloten was commissioned to build the church in the garden city Slotervaart.
