SEXYLAND is an art project in the form of a temporary social club. Every day for 365 days there will be a new owner of the club. The owner is free to give substance to the program as he or she wishes, varying from art performances to sporting events, from rap to dinners in stroboscopic light. SEXYLAND is a tabula rasa that can be described in any way. SEXYLAND strives to mark every unknown corner of Amsterdam, to show what an enormous diversity this city has to offer.
NOTE: Sexyland has moved in May 2021. The new society Sexyland, now called Sexyland World, can be found on the Noordwal, near the IJ-Plein in Amsterdam Noord.
