Valentine Blangé

Valentine Blangé (1998) started playing the violin at the age of four. In September 2014 she was admitted to the School for Young Talent of the Hague Conservatory with Koosje van Haeringen. Valentine is currently taking a bachelor's degree there and is currently being taught by Jaring Walta and Tjeerd Top.

Chamber music is a big passion of Valentine. She forms a regular duo with pianist Rangel Silaev, with whom she regularly gives concerts. Valentine gained orchestral experience in the Atheneaum Chamber Orchestra (ao as a concertmaster), the Netherlands Youth Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra. Valentine also performed as a soloist with various regional youth and amateur orchestras.

In February 2017, Valentine won a prize during the regional final of the Princess Christina Competition. Following this prize, she made a tour through Greece later that year.

In the summer of 2018, Valentine attended the summer academy of the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, where she was taught by Ulf Wallin. She also attended master classes with Lutsia Ibragimova, Sebastian Gürtler and Stephan Picard, among others.
